U-GUARD POWER MOLD
Power Mold® Pole Riser Systems offer a variety of plastic U-guards for mechanical protection of electrical and communications cable. They are non-conducting, lightweight, impact-resistant, and install over the cable, eliminating cable pull-through. The U-shape contour of the system provides greater cable fill capacity than that of a round riser of the same nominal size.
Components of Power Mold systems include: U-guard sections, back-up plates, ventilation and non-ventilated boots, and reducer boots. U-guard sections have flanged sides that are slotted for easy fastening to the pole. Parts are interchangeable, and modifications or additional accessories can be made to meet any requirement.

The belled end of the U-guard sections makes installation quick and easy. Overlap joining gives a trim appearance. - VENTILATION BOOT
This component is used for “chimney effect” to cool cables. - REDUCER BOOT
The reducer boot is used to step down to a smaller size of riser U-guard.

Polyethylene Power Mold® Pole Riser
The Polyethylene Power Mold® Riser system is designed to protect power and communications cables installed vertically on the side of utility poles.
The Power Mold system is non-conductive, lightweight, high impact-resistant, and installed over the cable, eliminating cable pull through.
